ResearcherRuben Corthout graduated in civil engineering, and holds a PhD degree in Transportation Engineering (KU Leuven). Since 2012 he works for TML, specialising in dynamic traffic simulations, design of intelligent signal controls and traffic management in multimodal networks. His past and current projects include the development of a European strategic transport model (HIGH-TOOL), regional traffic models for Antwerp and Brussels, and the new signal control system in Antwerp.
