Under this framework contract, TML supports Agentschap Wegen en Verkeer in the design and evaluation of traffic light schemes, V-plans, and microsimulations for intersections in Flanders.
Through this framework contract, TML assists AWV in the design, analysis, and optimisation of traffic light schemes and associated V-plans. A well-designed scheme takes all road users into account, adapts to changing traffic flows, and is tailored to the local infrastructure. This requires technical expertise, precision, and rigorous quality control.
Depending on the specific assignment, TML develops basic control schemes and vehicle-dependent traffic light control schemes, carries out microsimulations in Vissim, and draws up traffic plans in accordance with AWV guidelines. We combine local knowledge, data analysis, and modelling to thoroughly evaluate both current operations and future scenarios.
TML acts as a permanent mobility partner within the framework contract. We bring together expertise in traffic modelling, traffic light control systems, ITS applications, and AutoCAD drafting. Thanks to our integrated approach – from analysis to implementation and evaluation – we can respond flexibly to a wide range of assignments.
