Within the Goods Transport Model Alliance, TML investigated how a vehicle fleet model can be linked to BasGoed to better consider vehicle availability, powertrains, and emissions. We developed the technical interface and led the research and implementation.
Within the Freight Transport Model Alliance, TML worked on the integration of a delivery van and truck fleet model into BasGoed, so that the model can consider not only freight flows but also the availability and composition of the vehicle fleet.
Because policy measures and technological developments have a major impact on the fleet, Rijkswaterstaat investigated how a link with existing market models can make BasGoed more consistent and policy-relevant.
The project consisted of three parts:
TML led the project and built the technical interface that will form the basis for future expansions, including the inclusion of different vehicle technologies and emissions in BasGoed.

The project consisted of three parts:
- Identifying relevant policy frameworks and model classifications
- Developing a prototype interface for data exchange
- Testing and analysing this first version
