Complex Project North-South Limburg

18038
From 2018 to 2021
The overall goal of the Complex Project North-South Limburg is to come to a sustainable, integrated mobility solution which is beneficial to the whole region (connection Hasselt with Neerpelt-Overpelt) and the area concerned (the municipality of Houthalen-Helchteren) in particular.  The scope here is broader than just mobility; quality of life (human beings), nature, landscape, agriculture, and economy are also being taken into consideration.
Within this project, TML will conduct the social cost benefit analysis of various project alternatives.
This entails the mapping of welfare effects caused by the implementation of the project alternatives.  These effects inlude not only those related to economy and mobility, but also the effects with impact on the well-being of the citizens (environment, safety, landscape).
