Managing road work impact on the Brussels Ring Road in Zaventem

For the planned works on the Brussels Ring Road (R0) in Zaventem, TML assisted Rox – a consortium between AB Eiffage, Viabuild, and ACL Agro – in preparing their tender. TML worked on an approach to minimise traffic disruption.
The works on the R0 in Zaventem present a significant challenge. Traffic volumes are already high, and road closures could lead to additional congestion on surrounding roads and at junctions. At the same time, key destinations, such as the airport, hospitals, and the surrounding businesses and local authorities, need to remain accessible.
On behalf of Rox, TML helped prepare the tender for the works. We optimised the phasing of the works, developed possible diversion routes, and outlined the road works impact management during the construction phase of the project.
