Project & product development managerWouter Florizoone is an environmental engineer and followed an additional master's degree in human ecology. After more than 20 years, he has a broad professional experience in the interfaces between energy, climate, and mobility, with sustainability as a common thread. He was the face of various mobility campaigns, involved in various national and international projects, and he founded the mobility platform Mobimix. He is a regular guest speaker or panel member on various forums and thanks to his fluent knowledge of Spanish, he is a regular guest or in contact with Latin American companies and research institutions. He has been using his passion for mobility for TML for more than 2 years now. There he does project-related research work with a focus on sustainable mobility policy, basic accessibility, social mobility, smart logistics, and mobility management. For example, he was involved in the European projects SATELLITE and SMARTA and he is part of the core team of Regiopact in the roll-out of the new public transport network plan and the mobility plan 2030 for the Leuven Transport Region. For TML, Wouter organises the periodic TML Talks in which a TML researcher and an external speaker give an interactive lecture in a lunch format. In addition, as project and product development manager, he feels the pulse for Telraam where he is responsible for public affairs marketing, communication, and cont(r)acts with local authorities and mobility organisations.
