Wouter Florizoone
Project- and product development managerWouter Florizoone is an environmental engineer and followed an additional master's degree in human ecology. After more than 24 years of active professional experience, he has particular expertise in the interfaces between energy, climate, sustainability and mobility. For instance, he was coordinator of several mobility campaigns, involved in several domestic and foreign projects and founded the mobility platform Mobimix. Meanwhile, he has been using his passion for mobility for more than six years for TML. He does project-related research work with a focus on sustainable mobility policy, basic accessibility, social mobility, smart logistics and mobility management. For instance, he was involved in the European projects SATELLITE and SMARTA and is part of the core team of Regiopact in the roll-out of the new public transport network plan and the mobility plan 2030 for the Transport Region Leuven. Wouter organises the periodic TML Talks in which a TML researcher and an external speaker give an interactive lecture in a lunch format. In addition, he mainly works as a business development manager for our traffic model ‘Traffic Scout’ and is active for most of the week at our subsidiary Telraam.
