TML is supporting Easyfairs – Flanders Expo in addressing the mobility challenges associated with the future development of The Loop in Ghent. Through traffic engineering analyses and strategic advice, we are helping to assess the impact of the plans on accessibility and parking capacity.
The Loop in Ghent is currently under development, and the Master Plan and the future Spatial Implementation Plan (RUP) will significantly change mobility in the area. For Flanders Expo, it is important that accessibility, parking capacity, and traffic flow remain guaranteed, even during major events.
TML is supporting Easyfairs in assessing the mobility plans. We are identifying gaps in the existing research, analysing the expected impact on traffic flow and parking pressure, and critically evaluating the assumptions and traffic models used. In addition, we are examining how Flanders Expo’s future expansion plans can be aligned with the mobility objectives for The Loop.
