ResearcherEvelyn De Wachter is a scientist with a PhD in Applied Physics and specific experience in remote sensing of the atmospheric composition and its link to climate change and air pollution. She worked for six years at the Royal Belgian Institute for Space Aeronomy on the development of satellite data sets of methane, the second most important anthropogenic greenhouse gas. At TML she’s involved in the evaluation support study of the ‘Urban Mobility Package’ as implemented in 2013 by the European Commission together with cities, Member States, and stakeholders. Furthermore she’s involved in the CIVITAS SATELLITE project that coordinates and supports the ongoing CIVITAS 2020 projects in the field of evaluation, promotion of results, and exchange of knowledge.
