TERM report

18064-19089-19090
From 2019 to 2021
Each year, the Europe Environment Agency publishes the TERM report that explores the environment impacts of transport activities. This annual report gives an overview of current developments in the transport and environment area as well as progress towards transport policy targets, and in addition explores each year a different topic. Within the European Topic Centre on Air Pollution, Transport, Noise and Industrial Pollution (ETC/ATNI) Transport & Mobility Leuven leads the task for drafting the reports on the specific assessment topics for the years 2019-2021.

The Europe Environment Agency now has published the TERM 2019 report entitled ‘The first and last mile — the key to sustainable urban transport’, which is available for download at the EEA’s website.
The report assesses how green and sustainable ‘first and last mile’ transport options like bicycles, kick scooters or other means of short distance travel can transform mobility systems in cities.  It also assesses how innovative urban freight and inner city delivery services, including the use of delivery drones, can make urban freight transport more sustainable.
