TREMOVE update

Update and further development of transport model TREMOVE

A TREMOVE update will be performed for DG ENV to bring TREMOVE in line with recent research projects and other models used by the European Commission. The focus will be on updating vehicle stock and emissions data, based on the FLEETS ("European Database of Vehicle Stock for the Calculation and Forecast of Pollutant and Greenhouse Gases Emissions with TREMOVE and COPERT") and EX-TREMIS ("Exploring non road transport emissions in Europe") project output.
On top of that, two new baselines will be defined. The first, standard baseline is based on policies adopted until the end of 2008. To ensure consistency in TREMOVE development, it will be aligned with the iTREN-2030 project Reference scenario. The alternative baseline will reflect likely policies until 2030.
In 8 sensitivity runs, the behaviour of the new baselines will be evaluated.
This will result in TREMOVE version 3.3.
