Transposing the structure of the TREMOVE model into a system dynamics coding

Transport & Mobility Leuven has  finished the development of a model prototype named GLADYSTE (Global Scale System Dynamic Simulation Model for Transport Emissions). The main goal was to develop reliable, useful and well-tested analytical tools to address the policy problems related to transport and climate change able to address the impact of sectoral transportation policies at global scale on long term horizon. Using System Dynamic approach, the model prototype consists of four modules, i.e. demand generation and disaggregation, fleet dynamics, energy use & emission calculation, and welfare impacts calculation.
