Improved Methods for the Assessment of the Generic Impact of Noise in the Environment

In IMAGINE, common models for the assessment of environmental noise have been developed, either by computation or by measurement. Of particular interest are the modelling of aircraft noise, further refinements regarding road and rail traffic noise assessment, and the creation of accurate noise source databases to be used in the common computation methods when established.  Our work focussed on traffic management & noise assessment.
